We offer 9 flexible meeting and event spaces totaling approximately 16,627 sq. ft., with our largest single setup accommodating around 4,800 sq. ft. — plus stunning beachfront and pool-deck settings.
The Sunny offers versatile event venues in Sunny Isles Beach for beachfront weddings, birthday parties, corporate retreats, family reunions, private dinners, and more. Whether you’re planning something intimate or expansive, we’ve got a space that fits.
Our event spaces can host from 10 to 550 guests. With indoor meeting rooms, outdoor oceanfront terraces, and flexible private dining spaces, our team will help you choose the best fit based on your event type and guest count.
The Sunny features 13,145 square feet of dedicated indoor meeting space and 9,500 square feet of dedicated outdoor venues, from ballrooms and breakout rooms to oceanfront terraces and beachfront settings. Additional flexible event areas — spanning over 50,000 square feet — include spaces like our beach, pier, and F&B outlets such as Julene and Sandbar. For even more options, the nearby Gateway Center offers 5,400 square feet of additional event space just a five-minute walk away, plus access to a 6-acre park for large-scale gatherings.
Yes. All catering for events at The Sunny is provided in-house by our culinary team. Outside food or beverage is not permitted unless pre-approved. You’ll work with us to design a menu that’s unique, flavorful, and memorable.
Yes. We offer full and partial buyouts of several venues at The Sunny, including our pool bar, beach club, and restaurants. Full hotel buyouts may also be available upon request.
Yes. We’re happy to accommodate dietary needs including gluten-free, vegan, vegetarian, kosher and allergy-conscious menus. Let us know in advance so we can prepare accordingly.
EV charging is currently unavailable.
We don’t currently offer a shuttle from MIA, FLL, or Opa-Locka. Rideshare and taxi are the easiest options — MIA is roughly 45 minutes by car and FLL about 30. Our concierge is happy to help arrange private car service on request.
Parking is valet-only — self-parking isn’t available on-site. Day parking is $30 plus tax, and overnight valet is $50 plus tax, with in/out privileges.
Yes — you’re welcome to ship packages ahead of your stay at no extra charge. Please address them to your name and arrival date, c/o The Sunny, 16701 Collins Ave., Sunny Isles Beach, FL 33160. Kindly note that the hotel cannot accept responsibility for lost or misdirected packages.
We place a refundable hold of $100 per day on your card for incidentals. The hold is released on the day of check-out, though the actual time it takes to appear back on your account depends on your card provider.
A credit card is required at check-in to secure your reservation and cover incidentals. Cash is accepted to settle your balance at check-out.

Our team is proudly multilingual, with staff members who speak English, Spanish, French, Portuguese, and Russian. Language offerings may vary by team member, but we’re always here to make communication feel easy and welcoming.
Check-in begins at 4:00 PM and check-out is by 11:00 AM. You are welcome to store your luggage with us to continue enjoying the property and neighborhood.
The cancellation policy is specific to the rate (or special offer) and how you booked. Please carefully check the cancellation policy, which can be found on your reservation confirmation. If you booked directly with the hotel, we require 72 hours to cancel your room without penalty. Please contact the Front Desk if you have any questions about your reservation.
Standard check-in is 4 PM and check-out is 11 AM. Subject to availability, early check-in is offered for a fee of up to $150, and late check-out for a fee of up to $200. Please note that check-out after 3 PM will be charged as a full additional night.
Each room includes a mini-fridge, a kettle with tea bags and instant coffee, an in-room safe, a flat-screen TV, complimentary WiFi, a hair dryer, slippers, robes, an iron and ironing board, and bath toiletries.
Not all rooms — a private balcony is guaranteed only in our Ocean View and Ocean Front room types. Other categories may offer city or partial views without a balcony, so we recommend selecting an Ocean View or Ocean Front room at booking if a balcony is a must.
Cribs are available on request at no charge. Rollaway beds are available for $40 per day, though they aren’t offered in all room types, so we recommend requesting one in advance so we can confirm availability for your room. Connecting rooms are also available for families.
